ARI - Alpaca Registry Inc

An authorized agent is another user that has the power to conduct business with ARI on behalf of the Indicated Owner for the registered alpacas contained in a specific listed herd code.

There are three levels of agents. A level one agent has the power to initiate a registration of an alpaca for the Owner. A level 2 agent has the power of the level one agent plus is authorized to sign a registration application for the Owner. A level 3 agent has full authority as though they are the Indicated Owner, including the ability to authorize the transfer of ownership of alpacas in AIMS.

An Agent may be authorized by an Owner for a two year period, after which the owner must reauthorize the agent. An owner may remove an agent at any time.
