ARI - Alpaca Registry Inc

AIMS stands for Alpaca Information Management System. It is ARI’s online management and database system that allows our members to manage their herds.

There are many reasons why an alpaca may not be showing in your herd. Please contact the ARI office for assistance. Having the ARI number of the alpaca in question will be helpful in researching this issue.

It is possible that e-mails from ARI are being sent to your spam or junk folders, in order to avoid this please include the following addresses in your safe list.

Login to the members area and select ‘View My....Alpacas’ from the left hand menu. To print a list of your entire herd, simply select one of the export links at the bottom of the page to create a printable document. To print a list of specific animals, first mark the check boxes in the far right hand column next to those animals’ names.

There are many reasons why you may deny a signature online. We suggest denying a signature online only when you plan on never approving the transaction. Deny means that the information is wrong.

You may submit a Support Issue through the ARI website to change it back. If you prefer, you may also fax or mail a signed letter to ARI. A data correction fee does apply.

Approving signatures online allows ARI to greatly speed up the registration and transfer process, in addition to cutting down on the waste and expense of mail and paper forms. If your signature is required on a transaction, a notification will appear in the Pending Authorizations box on the upper right hand side of your ARI home page.

Incomplete transactions will be removed from your online account if they are not paid for within 30 days of their initiation. ARI will not be able to recover any information from transactions that were removed due to lack of payment.

To confirm our correct address, please see the contact information on our website. If your mail is scheduled to arrive on Friday or Saturday, it will not show as received until late Monday or early Tuesday, as our office is closed Friday through Sunday. If after giving the post office adequate time your mail still has not been received, please contact our office for further assistance.

It is very important that ARI is able to contact you when necessary. Updating your contact information when something changes ensures that you will continue to receive correspondence from the ARI office.

There are two places online where this information needs to be updated. Under “View my....Account/Herd Code” you can update your account address, phone numbers, e-mail, and privacy settings. Each user on the account needs to log in, using their own user name and password, and update their contact information under “View my....Membership.”

You can purchase all of these items using your online account. DNA Cards and Color Charts can be found in the shopping cart section. The Breeder ID can be purchased under "I want to....Request Breeder ID." If you prefer to purchase these over the phone, please contact the ARI office.

The ARI system has many options and manages a large amount of data. The system is designed to access a variety of data every time you click a link. Clicking the “Back” button in your internet browser tends to have adverse effects on the data that has been loaded. Please use the links provided in our system to navigate the site. Many of our screens provide a “Bread Crumb” directly below the menu at the top. This shows you where you have been and can be clicked on to return to previous screens if need be.
